Dropping to the ground after exiting a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, Romanian Army soldiers assigned to the Military Police Company, Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, assume a defensive posture during air assault operations training, March 8, 2017. Along with U.S. Army Soldiers from the 2-10 Assault Helicopter Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, the Romanians flew to a nearby location where numerous air assault techniques were practiced. The training is an integral part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multi-nation effort between the United States and her Allies and partners that significantly contributes to peace across eastern Europe by enhancing stability and deterring aggression.
