U.S. Marines locate and make contact with the enemy from a Guatemalan military vehicle during an ambush exercise aboard Poptun Training Camp in Poptun, Guatemala, Sept. 12. Ambushing was part of a larger training package created by the Kaibil soldiers to give Marines of Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Continuing Promise 2010 a sense of how the elite Guatemalan Special Forces soldiers train on a daily basis.
