An Airmen plays bag-pipes as a detail of three others lower the flag to half-staff in front of a mural honoring the fallen firemen of 9/11 during a rememberence ceremony on the ninth aniversary of the attacks at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Many people lost their lives that day, but this ceremony was a chance for the miltiary fire fighters of today to reflect on what other rescue workers have done in the past.
