Maintainers from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772, Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Air Wing, prepare a CH-53E Super Stallion for its final checks before reassembly of the aircraft is complete, June 21, 3013. The CH-53 was previously stripped down and loaded inside an Air Force C-5 for transport from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. HMH-772 was tasked with being the first unit to restart the HMH Unit Deployment Program as one of several CH-53E heavy lift helicopters forward deployed to Japan year-round.
