Capt. Eric Ruff, commander of Alpha Troop, 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade, 4th Infantry Division speaks to staff delegates from the House Armed Services Committee during a tour to view rail-head operations, Feb. 21, 2017 in Sweitoszow, Poland. The delegation was here to view how European Reassurance Initiative (ERI) funds are being utilized in the Atlantic Resolve area of operation. The ‘Iron Brigade’ is the first of back-to-back rotations of armored brigades in Europe as part of Atlantic Resolve. This rotation will enhance deterrence capabilities in the region, improve the U.S. ability to respond to potential crises and defend allies and partners in the European community.
