Petty Officer 1st Class Matt Lowery, a boatswain mate, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Shawn Cooper, a maritime enforcement specialist, transport members of a Senegalese Law Enforcement Detachment to a mock boarding. The team was becoming familiar with U.S. Coast Guard policies and procedures for entering and exiting small boats prior to carrying out law enforcement boardings with the cutter's enforcement team.
