ZAGAN, Poland - Polish President Andrzej Duda greets American Soldiers from 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division Jan. 30, 2017, as he toured a static display of Polish and American armament. The display was part of a formal welcome ceremony for the American Soldiers and a joint live fire exercise between the Americans and their Polish counterparts. The arrival of 3rd ABCT to Poland earlier this month marks the start of back-to-back rotations of armored brigades in Europe as part of Atlantic Resolve. This rotation will enhance deterrence capabilities in the region, improve the U.S. ability to respond to potential crises and defend allies and partners in the European community.
