ZAGAN, Poland – A Soldier from 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, wipes grease off the tracks of an M1A2 Abrams Tank Jan. 24. The tank, which had been fired last week, was in the maintenance bays getting routine work done. The tanks, and the Soldiers arrived in Poland earlier this month from Fort Carson, Colorado. 1st Bn., 8th Inf. Regt. will push out to Romania and Bulgaria early next month as part of a nine-month deployment in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
