Petraeus, commanding general of the International Security Assistance Force and commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, speaks to a crowd of soldiers during a short stop at Foward Operating Base Salerno Aug. 19. During his visit, he met with Task Force Rakkasan Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, and presented awards to a few deserving soldiers for combat actions.
