    A U.S. Marine with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa is welcomed home by his family as he returns to Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan 17, 2017. During the nine-month deployment, Marines and sailors served as the logistics combat element supporting operations and training exercises across Europe and Africa. U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa Command support operations, contingencies and security cooperation in the U.S. Africa Command area of responsibility.
