Brig. Gen. Nick Tooliatos, deputy commanding general of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, greets a soldier from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division the 4/2 rolls into Kuwait during the early morning hours of Aug. 16. The 4/2 convoyed their own vehicles out of Iraq after a year-long tour there, bringing troop levels in the country closer to the 50,000 mark. The 1st TSC played an important role in the withdrawal of the 4/2 by providing facilities needed for the soldiers to clean and ship their equipment to the United States.
