    20th Engineer Battalion

    The 20th Engineer Battalion, Task Force Lumberjacks, was paid a special visit by the U.S. Armys highest ranking engineer officer yesterday, Aug. 17, on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Lt. Gen. Robert L. Van Antwerp, chief of engineers and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers commander, took time to visit the various engineer units, including the Lumberjacks. He received a brief on operations, talked to primary staff officers, and recognized soldiers for their outstanding service during his visit.
