    Kazakh soldiers with the 1st Brigade, 1st Battalion, march in formation for a pass and review during the opening ceremonies of Steppe Eagle 2010, a multi-national training exercise, Aug. 16. Steppe Eagle is an annual training exercise designed to improve the participant's inter-operational capabilities, thus shaping the future with regional security enhancement. Third Army’s role during this exercise is to provide military decision-making process training to the Kazakh brigade and battalion.
