Coast Guard Rear Adm. Peter J. Brown, assistant commandant for response policy, and Mark B. Rosenburg, president of Florida International University, sign a Memorandum of Agreement on Dec. 6, 2016 at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. The Memorandum of Agreement between the Coast Guard and Florida International University is designed to optimize outreach and engagement efforts and synergize the Coast Guard's overall civilian and military officer recruiting effort, while assisting Florida International University by providing additional tuition-saving choices and academic options/solutions for professors and students.
