U.S. Army Reserve Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, speaks with Chief Warrant Officer 2 Sarah Stone, the navigation officer of the LSV-5 "MG Charles P. Gross," a United States Army Reserve Soldier with the 411th Transportation Company Detachment 5, about the specifics of naval navigation at Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait, on Jan. 10, 2017. Luckey came to Kuwait to speak with Soldiers about the capabilities, need and importance of their missions overseas. The 411st TC Det. 5 mission while deployed is to provide logistics transportation support to the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), a USAR unit from Coraopolis PA. The 316th ESC mission in Kuwait is to support the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) mission of providing logistics support throughout the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
