Four Marine officers with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Continuing Promise 2010, state their oath of office after being promoted to first lieutenant at the opening ceremony at Colombian Marine Corps Training Base Covenas in Colombia, Aug. 10, as the start of joint military subject matter expert exchanges with Colombian and U.S. Marines as part of Continuing Promise 2010. The Marines’ mission of CP10 is to conduct civil-military operations including subject matter expert exchanges, humanitarian civic assistance and disaster response to partner nations to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
