Sgt. 1st Class Edward L. Hood, an operations non-commissioned officer with the 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) and Bayboro, N.C., native, is congratulated by Col. Arthur D. Glikin, the base realignment and closure liaison officer for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command for his retirement after 29 years of service during the United States Army Human Resource Center of Excellence and Fort Knox Retirement Ceremony at the Fort Knox Leaders Club, July 30. During the ceremony, Hood was presented the Meritorious Service Medal For his meritorious service from Nov. 1, 2000, to Oct. 31, 2010.
