Staff Sgt. Frederick Ferrigno, a dog handler with the 529th Military Police Company, cuts into the cake for University of Maryland University College's 60th anniversary of providing education to deployed service members overseas, Aug. 6. Ferrigno, a student with UMUC in Kosovo and Afghanistan, was chosen to cut the cake as part of a simultanious ceremony held at other UMUC locations throughout Europe and Asia.
