Pedro Padilla, all from the 97th Air Mobility Wing, march off the stage with a folded flag during a retreat ceremony at Wings of Freedom Park, May 28. At this ceremony the flag is lowered and folded into a triangle and each fold symbolizes a specific patriotic belief. The ceremony represents the same principles on which our country was originally founded, and pays tribute to our nation’s honored dead.
