Iraqi Policemen from Ameriyah, Iraq carried their PFC machine guns and AK-47 assault rifles to their pick-up trucks for a patrol through the small city south of Fallujah. Police in Ameriyah are working largely indiependent of Coalition support, relying on them fore resupply of ammunition, fuel and other small items. Their day-to-day operations, including running down insurgents, is done on their own.
