A UH-1Y Huey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor squadron 365 (Reinforced) flies over the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group during a strait passage exercise Dec. 13, 2016 at sea. The simulated strait passage pitted the ARG against a myriad of potential real-world threats such as small attack boats with armed personnel and fast moving aircraft overhead harassing the three U.S. Navy vessels. The rotor-winged aircraft deployed along with five other aircraft from USS Bataan (LHD-5) to thwart harassing attempts made by small boats moving in and out of the ARG formation.
