    The 1st Range Operations Squadron pose for a group photo in front of Orbital ATK’s “Stargazer” L-1011 carrier aircraft on the Skid Strip at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. four days prior to the Dec. 15, 2016, successful launch of a Pegasus XL rocket. The rocket, carrying NASA’s Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System, launched at a predetermined drop point 39,000 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and about 110 nautical miles east-northeast of Daytona Beach.
