Casey Kleisinger, a member of the team from Robins Air Force Base, Ga., signals a fellow teammate during a scenario as part of the 2016 Air Force Research Laboratory Commanders Challenge at the Nevada National Security Site, Las Vegas, NV., Dec. 13, 2016. Teams were given six months to develop a complete counter-unmanned aerial system to aid in base defense. Robins' system is a multi-layered integrated system which uses a radar and camera system for detection and identification.
