YAVORIV, Ukraine— Col. Nick Ducich, commander of the Joint Multinational Training Group gives a speech at the newly renovated school in Starychi, near the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, Oct. 27. The U.S. Embassy of Defense Cooperation organized a dedication ceremony to mark the completion of a $300,000 Humanitarian Assistance project that was funded by European Command.This is one of the many accomplishments Ducich achieved during his 14-month tenure at the IPSC. The 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, out of Oklahoma, will resume training in January. JMTG-U’s primary goal is to directly train Ukrainian soldiers in the near term while helping Ukrainian Land Forces build a sustainable and enduring combat training center. (Photo by Staff Sgt.
