Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone (left), deputy commanding general for operations, United States Forces-Iraq, and Brig. Gen. Donald Currier, commander, 49th Military Police Brigade, co-hosted the 49th's End of Mission Ceremony July 27 at Al Faw Palace, Camp Victory, Iraq. Cone honored the 49th for accomplishing "the most challenging and most important aspect of our mission -- development of Iraqi Police forces." The 49th concluded its second Operation Iraqi Freedom mission in five years.
