Beside her, Sgt. Tonya Callaway and the company first sergeant, 1st Sgt. William Gutierrez of Houston, Texas, monitors their progress. The unit returned to Biggs Airfield earlier in the day after being deployed to Iraq in December 2009. Their mission was to provide care, custody and control of some of the most volatile detainees in Iraq. Alpha Company is scheduled to leave Fort Bliss within one week to reunite with their families at their home-station in Pasadena, Texas.
