Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Navy Adm. Michael G. Mullen gives a commanders coin to U.S. Army Spc. Jerome S. Talley, of Montgomery, Ala., a battalion promotions clerk with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, Task Force No Slack during a visit to Forward Operating Base Joyce in eastern Afghanistan’s Kunar province July 25. The admiral commended Soldiers of Task Force No Slack on their work and reminded them of the importance of the mission they are performing.
