Marines from Alpha Company, 1st recruit training battalion say good bye to one another after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 2. After graduation, Marines are given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
