An installation team from the Internews office in Kabul upgrades Radio Khurasan in Panjshir, Afghanistan, from a wired connection to wireless by installing a new antenna July 10. Internews is an international media development organization whose mission is to empower local media worldwide to give people the news and information they need, the ability to connect and the means to make their voices heard. This antenna provides the station with increased wireless bandwidth and allows the radio station to stream their broadcast in real time over the internet.
