ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 18, 2016) - Petty Officer 2nd Class Vincent Montgomery, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), simulates a fire during a crash and salvage drill. Montgomery serves aboard Nitze as a culinary specialist and is responsible for preparing and serving food to the crew. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
