Female cadets from the California National Guard’s Sunburst Youth ChalleNGe Academy in Los Alamitos, California, deliver more than 130 bouquets to the Los Alamitos Senior Center, where they spent time last month brightening the residents’ day. The trip to the Senior Center was just one of many ways Sunburst cadets’ provide service to their community, which was highlighted this year through a nationwide ChalleNGe Program social media campaign on Oct. 23 and tagged #ChalleNGe4ChaNGe.
