The 2016 Miss America, Savvy Shields, tours boats at the Kuwait Naval Base. She and the Honorable Patrick Murphy, Undersecretary of the Army visited U.S. Army Central Soldiers deployed overseas during Thanksgiving. During their visit, the two played Ping-Pong, toured boats, ate with Soldiers and ran, or cheered, at the Camp Arifjan Turkey Trot 5k.
