A KC-135R Stratotanker boom operator from the 91st Air Refueling Squadron, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., refuels an A-10C Thunderbolt II assigned to the 354th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., during the Cactus Flag exercise over southeastern Ariz., Nov. 15, 2016. During the exercise, the 355th Fighter Wing amps up the operations from a normal four-to-five hour training day to at least eight hours, preparing the pilots for deployment and testing the units readiness and compliance.
