This is an aerial surveillance/reconnaissance image captured on 10 October 2016 at 18:05:46 UTC, showing an ocean surface with multiple bright glowing objects arranged in a scattered linear pattern. The image appears to be from a maritime patrol aircraft equipped with an electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor system. The bright objects on the water surface are consistent with personal flotation device lights or emergency strobes, suggesting a maritime search and rescue or migration incident.
