Franchetti, Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11, and medical professionals from the Daruba hospital cut the ribbon during a ceremony marking the completion of renovations to the hospital. The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy is in the North Maluku Islands conducting Pacific Partnership 2010, the fifth in a series of annual U.S. Pacific Fleet endeavors conducted in Indonesia as a disaster relief exercise aimed at strengthening regional partnerships.
