SUEZ CANAL (Oct. 30, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeffrey Cook, from Greeneville, Tenn., tracks surface contacts in the combat information center of the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) while escorting the USS Dallas through the Suez Canal. Cook works as an Operations Specialist aboard Mason. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
