A U.S. Coast Guard harbor patrol boat attached to Joint Task Force Guantanamo escorts the Cuban Tug Boat STGO De Cuba through the harbor at the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. STGO De Cuba towed a barge through the NAVSTA GTMO harbor as a scheduled merchant vessel transit. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is the oldest overseas U.S. Navy base in the world. NAVSTA GTMO is also the only U.S. base located inside a communist country.
