Scott Reed, a native of Olean, New York, and retired Marine and Navy veteran Domingo Almirol, the guest of honor and Suquamish Police Department deputy chief of patrol, during the 241st United States Marine Corps birthday ball hosted by MCSFBn at the Kiana Lodge. Maj. Gen. John Lejeune issued General Order 47 on November 1, 1921, for Marines to commemorate the establishment of the Continental Marines — November 10, 1775.
