BAGHDAD – Maj. Gen. James D. Thurman, the commanding general of Multi-National Division – Baghdad, visited with local residents in the Ghazaliya neighborhood of western Baghdad Wednesday to meet with them and hear their opinions about security and quality of life. He took advantage of an opportunity to visit the Ghazaliya Iraqi police station, met with police officers and sought their feedback on the health of detainees. Key points of his discussion with the officers were protecting the people and actively patrolling the entire area.
