Lebidine, commanding general of 4th Marine Division, talks to Marines of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command after an award ceremony during a visit to Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Nov. 4, 2016. During their deployment, SPMAGTF-SC Marines and sailors worked alongside their Honduran counterparts on a school and a hospital in the Gracias a Dios region of Honduras, deployed with Joint Task Force Matthew in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew and worked alongside Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, and Honduras counterparts to enhance partner nation interoperability and strengthen regional defense and security cooperation.
