RUKLA, Lithuania – Sgt. Mark Ludemann, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade pulls security Nov. 3 while his fellow Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leader’s Course candidates use screens to block the light out of the building. The candidates used the abandoned building to practice urban reconnaissance techniques as part of the class. The class is being hosted by 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade in Lithuania and features Paratroopers from their unit, as well as soldiers from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia.
