    436th Airlift Wing

Tech. Sgt. John Crowe, 9th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, marshals Bradley Wilt, Maryland Task Force 1 logistics specialist from the Montgomery County’s Urban Search & Rescue Team, as he drives a Freightliner truck backwards into the cargo compartment of a C-5M Super Galaxy Oct. 18, 2016, on Dover Air Force Base, Del. Wilt backed the 21,960-pound truck into the cargo compartment using the loading ramp system known as DAMAS 26K which stands for DOMOPS Airlift Modular Approach Shoring. The 900-pound DAMAS 26K can be set up by two to three individuals in 14 minutes, replacing an antiquated 6,000-pound wood shoring kit that required a team of personnel and a forklift to set up.
