JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2016) – Charlene Rees, Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s regional health promotion coordinator, reviews the dangers of tobacco with a patient at the Wellness Center. Tobacco is the single greatest cause of preventable death globally, according to the World Health Organization. Navy Medicine recognizes tobacco’s devastating effect on the health and readiness of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps team, and provides tools and resources to help.
