U.S. Navy Seaman James Pytel prepares a dental filling during the Authorized Dental Allowance List Exercise on Camp Pendleton, Calif., from October 24-28, 2016. The dental restorative material is used to restore the function, integrity and morphology of a missing tooth structure. ADALEX is being conducted to ensure that Sailors are able to maintain the ability to provide dental care in a deployed environment.
