Sailors and Marines take the opportunity during a swim call to leap from the well deck of USS New Orleans after participating in the "Crossing the Line" ceremony. Amphibious Squadron 5, USS New Orleans and embarked Navy and Marine Corps units are participating in Southern Partnership Station 2010, a combined amphibious exercise designed to enhance cooperative partnerships with maritime forces from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, and Colombia.
