Airman Logan Crank, aviation boatswain's mate (handling), directs the pilot of an SH-60F helicopter assigned to the Nightdippers of Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron 5 during a vertical replenishment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is deployed as a part of an ongoing rotation of forward-deployed forces to support maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
