San Francisco resident, 1st Sgt. Oskar Ramirez and Maj. Louis Frias, from San Antonio, Texas, display their unit's Welcome Home plaque and Yellow Banner upon its return from a deployment to Afghanistan during a ceremony at Army Support Activity-Dix's B Company, June 23. Their unit, 10th Psychological Operations Battalion, whose motto is "Afghanistan Forever," mobilized out of Dix last August. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
