MORRISVILLE, N.C. – The Lakota helicopter is stripped down during a routine maintenance check here, Oct 14, 2016. This is one of the helicopters used by the North Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (NCHART) to spot and rescue residents displaced by Hurricane Matthew over the eastern part of the state, Oct. 10-14, 2016. The team is comprised of volunteer fire fighters and Soldiers with the North Carolina Army National Guard Detachment 1, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 151st Aviation Regiment. A camera at the bottom of the chopper can zoom in to help identify people in distress; giving it the nickname, “Eye in the Sky”. (Photo by Army National Guard Sgt.
