Service members from the Navy Ceremonial Guard, as well as other active duty members, got their annual influenza vaccine during the annual ShotEx Oct. 5 at the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Main Chapel. The exercise helps provided all Tricare beneficiaries with the flu shot in an effort to prevent base residents from contracting and spreading the seasonal illness.
