The Museum of Aviation Education Center receives a competitive grant from NASA to fund Operation STEM. It’s a three-year project to serve select schools in Houston, Bibb, and Twiggs Counties. The speaker for the event was retired NASA Astronaut, Dr. Story Musgrave. Musgrave flew six shuttle missions and was a crew mate and friend of Georgia’s astronaut, Sonny Carter.
